Meet Matt - Your Guide on the Inner Path
"I have been involved in men's spiritual work for fifteen years and have been entwined with community and environmental work for twenty-five years. I am deeply committed to work that heals our people and planet, something I especially love to do through the medium of gardening. I live at the Monastery of Sergius and Bacchus in New Brighton, which I co-founded in 2014. This space has been a healing place for many men over the years, and a place where they have been able to explore their own spiritual journey in a non-judgmental, open and loving environment. The Urban Monk Spiritual Quests grew out of a business centred on creating health-giving, restorative foods, and now I have turned towards nourishing the inner life. I have been visiting male spiritual sanctuaries around the world for almost twenty years, and see an incredible richness to them. Having studied in various spiritual traditions, I am eager to support others in their journeys."
